A faith-rooted, fully accredited K–12 academy combining the rigor of classical learning, the depth of Orthodox tradition, and the warmth of the Serbian heritage — designed for families who teach at home.
We exist to give Orthodox families a real third option — beyond secular online programs and Protestant homeschool curricula. Faith and academics, integrated.
Live and on-demand K–12 classes taught by Orthodox educators. Classical core: Latin, logic, rhetoric, math, science, literature — anchored in the faith and the lives of the saints.
Local in-person gatherings hosted at parishes, where students meet weekly for shared learning, Serbian language, hymnody, art, and fellowship. Online meets community.
State-by-state homeschool guidance, religious-exemption filings, transcripts, and accreditation paperwork — handled. You teach your children; we handle the bureaucracy.
Orthodox families in America are quietly homeschooling in record numbers — but they are doing it alone, stitching together secular curricula and Protestant resources, with little support from their own Church.
We are changing that. The Academy gives families a coherent, beautiful, classical education that speaks the same language as their faith — taught by people who pray the same prayers and venerate the same icons.
A blended program designed around the realities of homeschool family life — not retrofitted from a brick-and-mortar school.
Live online classes, recorded for flexibility. Classical curriculum K–12 with explicit integration of Orthodox theology, Church history, and patristic readings.
Optional add-ons: 1-on-1 tutoring, music & iconography studios, college counseling, Serbian language tracks, summer immersion at the monastery.
Discounted seats for parishes that enroll multiple families, plus a Compliance Engine that handles state filings on behalf of all enrolled families.
The Family Interest Survey takes 5–7 minutes. Your answers shape what we build, when we launch, and which courses come first.
Take the SurveyAn honest look at the road from concept to first class.
If something is not answered here, the survey has a free-text field — please ask.
No. The Academy is rooted in the Serbian Orthodox tradition and offers Serbian language as an option, but it is open to all Orthodox families — Greek, Russian, Antiochian, OCA, ROCOR, and any jurisdiction in communion with the Eparchy.
Accreditation is a Year-2 goal. For Year 1, we operate under each family's home-state homeschool law (often via religious exemption), and we issue our own transcripts. Our Compliance Engine maps requirements for all 50 states.
Pricing is being finalized as part of the bishop's review. Our working model uses tiered pricing with significant parish-bulk and multi-child discounts. Final pricing will be announced before sign-ups open.
St. Raphael is a wonderful pan-Orthodox option. We complement it with: explicit Serbian heritage tracks, parish-co-op infrastructure built into the model, and an integrated Compliance Engine that handles state homeschool paperwork for enrolled families.
Yes — that is exactly the model. If your parish priest is interested, please indicate so on the survey and we will reach out with the parish-host packet.
The Academy is a project of leadership within the Eparchy of New Gracanica – Midwestern America, in formal review with the bishop. A full leadership and advisory roster will be published once the bishop's blessing is received.
