Sveti Mardarije Academy exists to give Serbian Orthodox homeschooling families across America a complete, faith-rooted education that no one else is building for them โ one that is classical in its rigor, Orthodox in its soul, and Serbian in its heart.
We believe that education is not a service to be outsourced โ it is a sacred duty of the family, supported by the Church. This Academy is how we fulfill that duty together, across 25 states, through the blessing of the Diocese of New Gracanica โ Midwestern America.

The classical Trivium โ Grammar, Logic, and Rhetoric โ delivered through Memoria Press curriculum. Latin, Great Books, traditional logic, and rhetoric give students the tools to think, argue, and write with precision and grace.
Orthodox Studies, Church History, and Serbian Heritage taught by our Spiritual Director. All content is owned by the Diocese โ no outsourced platforms, no compromise on the faith that grounds everything we do.
Serbian language instruction for all grades using the free Kavฤiฤ Foundation textbooks โ developed by Prof. Aleksandar Kavฤiฤ, a Carnegie Mellon engineer whose life's work includes both groundbreaking technology and preserving Serbian culture for the diaspora.
A three-person team of clergy, educators, and technologists โ united by faith and a shared vision for Orthodox education in America.
Provides theological oversight, teaches Orthodox Studies, and serves as the Academy's liaison with Bishop Longin and the broader Diocese. His role is a ministry, not a job โ he serves without stipend.
Oversees curriculum development, teacher coordination, and day-to-day family support. The academic heart of the Academy โ ensuring every family has the structure and guidance they need to succeed.
Builds and maintains the Academy's platform, compliance engine, website, and financial systems. Ensures the Academy is self-sustaining, technically sound, and ready to serve families across 25 states from day one.
